Scota, Tuatha de Danann, Invocation for Our Times

Scota  is the Tuatha de Danann Goddess of passion, positive magic; she who can slip through the surface of things and restore balanceElven World, T.E. Pelton

Scota: An Invocation for Our Times

I call upon Scota in these times when we are looking for the way

These times when we are asking for peace and end to suffering

To carry away the mind of fear, judgment, trauma, perceptions of the past

As leaves that fall and blow,

as lifting a burden of material world

I call upon Scota for the energy of the heart that changes the past,

That heals the sick and lost and for whom she gives

Sight to any student asking to know from the heart

I ask Scota for the chance to change the darkness to light within my heart

To find the way to love by any means

She who I call to see love, to walk the path of love

By which beats the wisdom of now.

My heart sings the same song as the sun

Sounds the same vibration as the moon

I call Scota who walks the path of the wolf

Who waits, silent and hungry

Who dances in the water of the rivers

Who flies above the cool of the mountain top

Who designs this universe in perfect form and geometry

I ask you teach me to turn in the way of the heart

The way of light

And in my view to see kindred instead of loneliness

To see abundance without lack

To see perfection in every movement of the grain as she stands

Swaying in the wind

And from this place, outside of the slavery to this dimension,

I am not alone but watching

I am not rejected but unheard

I am not ignored but beyond the ability of mind to perceive

From here in your way, I can also learn

The changing mind to heart, hate to love, ignorance to compassion

And lies to truth.

Blessings

The Magical Love of the Light Elven

Nature is Love; all of the Celtic Gods and Goddesses exist in the Druidic tradition of nature. Each animal, plant and breath are an expression of the divine and from whom we learn our place and presence as humans. This divine is yours – holding her arms out to you, kissing your lips tenderly. All that is required to find this love is to listen. Love – is the highest, most radiant of all human emotions is right before you –  in every flower, seed and ocean wave. If you listen. It is you who choose to see beyond the trapped up human world, and let her heaven exalt you.

Elven World book series is about this Love and is expressed in a story just as we have always done in the ancient ways of Druidism. It is written for children ages 6-16 and especially for those who are learning the ways of magic love of the Light Elven and the Fae. It is a gift from my heart to yours and to all who pass along this way. Enjoy.

Elven Song: The Vulnerable Heart

Elven Song for Ellen

In the Druidic tradition, we give this poem to those who are uncertain in the place of suffering from lost love.

It is the vulnerable heart, the heart that is willing to be hurt that is open to give and receive Love. Your Magic springs from the admiration of this alignment only, regardless of the person, animal, plant or any manifestation you can see.  Your magic springs from respect for the balance adorned with sweet water that runs through you and the Earth herself.

Ride the waves in ecstatic wonder, let the wind and mist sweep across your skin: do not ever think being vulnerable in love isn’t worth it. Because it was worth even a moment of that shimmering golden balance that is the complete you.

It is You who are the gentle, divine arms that embrace, nurture and part the branches as joy of the cascading sun.

Mythology, Mysticism and Magic: C.G. Jung The Artist, Mystic and Prophet

It seems the Elven World gives us much more than community. The Celtic mythology that is revivified in Elven World, allows us to begin a transformative experience; filling our lives with magic and beauty that lifts us closer to the divine.

Dr. Stephan A. Hoeller, Ph.D is an eminent scholar on the subject of C. G. Jung’s Red Book, the mysterious work that was published in 2009– 48 years after Jung’s death. Carl Jung is primarily known as the founder of psychoanalytic philosophy. Few know that Jungian psychology began with what Dr. Heoller calls a “psycho cosmology” that emerged directly from Jung’s work as an artist, visionary, philosopher and prophet.

Dr. Hoeller defines Jung as a prophet who told the truth of the Gods–that multi-dimensional transcendent power that animates our spiritual lives. The Red Book is an account of Jung’s transformational journey toward the divine using imagery and mythological messages from deep within his psyche. Rich with symbolic paintings and every word written in calligraphy by the Master himself, the Red Book is a profound artistic masterpiece.

A consummate student of the Red Book for many years, Dr Heoller is able to explain the meaning and messages within this work of art written by Carl Jung’s hand in Swiss German. The book is bright red. Fully opened it is and some 26 inches across and some 24 inches high. The Red Book is full of mystical, symbolic drawings that open a window to a universe within the soul of man.  Jung communicated his divine journey–which is the journey of any man–through his conversations with mythological creatures and supernatural beings. He predicted the coming of a new age through his words and paintings of visionary mandalas and creation of sacred icons.

Of this work Dr. Stephan A. Hoeller explained, “The magical is what feeds our soul. If you let it, life sinks to a level of blandness. Gray consciousness happens when all the magic is gone; all the imagination. A human being does not live by material things alone. Human beings can’t live without hope, spirit, poetry, beauty, and mythology. An absence of the magical makes life gray and bland. God is alive. Magic is alive.”

As Dr. Heoller tells us, the psycho cosmology expressed in Jung’s work tells of the divinity indwelling in the human being. When one has contact with that in dwelling entity, the joyful bliss for which we search, comes alive. Jung’s journey was a journey of transcendence to this divinity through the supernatural, magical, mystical and divine initiation; a change of consciousness toward a new beginning; toward the blissful ecstasy of living in the present.

We can feel very blessed that scholars such as Dr. Stephan Heoller Ph.D, can teach with  expressive truth, this interpretation of Jung as an artist, philosopher and mythologist that allows us to begin a transformative experience in our lives as magic and beauty lifts us.

Elven World is a new story in Celtic mythology. And our place in the Elven World is a transformative, magical journey to find the divine within and without, through mythological and artistic expression.

Elven World Blessing – Breathing Air, T.E. Pelton, Elven World Mythologies

If you are reading this, you are Tuatha de Danann, tribe of the goddess Danu. You are Elven, beings of Light, golden; children of the stars and Earth as One. – T.E. Pelton, Elven World Mythologies

We are living the legend of now.

Opening our hearts in this now. Radiant like the sun.

And breathing, taking it all in, refreshing it and then letting go of that breath.

Air is the unseen we all share, where we go when we are completely one with all life and death. Take it in. And let it go with the next breath. This is our rhythm of returning to source.

Contemplation of such things is the beauty of being here in human form

You are being asked to strengthen your connection to the Natural world at this time, to restore the connection to your heart space, feel at home beyond the four walls of this dimension.

We are beings of light, our magic is love, our appreciation is peace.

Know that the love you give is a drop that will soon be an ocean to heal our planet.

You are the children of the New World. You are legend. You are divine.

– T.E. Locke

Nature: How 3 White Heron Grace The Elven

Blessings; May you feel the Elven song within, hear the voice who speak from your heart space. We are Tuatha de Danann, the children of Nature and the stars. –T.E. Pelton

A quick note to commemorate one of the most beautiful things I have seen lately, or even ever so far in my life:

On the morning of 1.11.11 I walked out by the river under the San Gabriel mountains where I saw 3 great white heron sitting at the top of the tree, taking in the expanse with their vivid curiosity and divine wisdom. They were so mesmerizing I stopped for a long while just to drink in their beauty. I felt the their golden light fill me with radiance, compassion; My heart opened. Ah, One is becoming a new person moment by moment.

Prayer For Ogma, Tuatha de Danann God of Eloquence and Humor

Blessings; May you feel the Elvensong within, dance to the rhythm of the sun and hear our voices who speak from your heartspace. We are Tuatha de Danann, the children of Earth and the heavens together. –T.E. Pelton

Ogma (pronounced OG-ma, sometimes spelled Ogme or Oghma) of the Tuatha de Danann, is known as the God of eloquence and language, scholars, education and writing. He is said to have invented the early Irish alphabet called Ogham.

Ogham served as the alphabet for ancient Celtic languages

Now, it is lesser known, although much more true in fact, that Ogma has a highly developed wit, commonly viewed as a ridiculous sense of humor and about which much has been kept secret–deep in the caverns of Tir na n’Og*. This is of course, because most humans tend to view their lives far too seriously. So when Ogma appears, they tend not to notice.

When composing “reasonable” literature, Ogme has an imposing stature with long blonde hair and deep resonant voice. But he prefers, and will be most often found transformed into a fool. He will harbor in certain trees and wild animals, although, of course, when humans do see him it is most often in the antics of their pets (tail chasing, and other slaphappy activities.)

Humans desire to keep Gods a sensible matter. So, if you are fortunate enough to be reading this, then you’ve been tipped off to the real secret of life: the Gods do appear in the most nonsensical places. Ogma has been known to cheer unrequited lovers and others in the form of cats who chase string, and the entertaining antics of dogs that fly upside down through your hallways and even wag their tails while sleeping. And yes, your favorite comics are absolutely blessed by Oghma.

We call upon you, Ogma, in whatever form you might well appear, to guide us to see the finer, and yet more preposterous side of life and ask that you will bless us on this day to laugh at ourselves, find the wacky, sappy and silly and bring it into our lives.

Laughter does not judge
Laughter waits for no man
No homage or expectation.
Coming from a place
Far beyond human’s limited dimension;
The bull who winks,
The tree who dances,
The dog knows well he is scratching his behind
For your more than an itch,
But for the chance
To transport us back to ourselves.
And to remember: life is a play
Played by us;
Where we learn love
Not as a sorrowful expression of inevitable sadness,
But to cherish the goofy dance we find ourselves making.
To remember we are the fools
Watching ourselves.

Prayer to Scota, Mistress of Illusion

Blessings; May you feel the Elvensong within, dance to the rhythm of the sun and hear our voices who speak from your heartspace. We are Tuatha de Danann, the children of Earth and the heavens together. –T.E. Pelton

Scota is one of the primary characters in Elven World: Restoration of the Tuatha de Danann Kingdom where she is the lover of Angus, God of Music, and the sister of Lugh, the Shining One. She teaches magic to Aine, the

Modern Celtic scholars believe that Scota was the eponymous founder of Scotland. An Egyptian princess, daughter of a Pharaoh, Scota settled with her eight children and their families in what is now Scotland where she became known as Queen. Her grave is said to be in Tralee just South of County Kerry in Ireland.

In the Elven World mythologies, Scota is one of the Sisters of Illusion and she is a highly skilled master. Her distinguished and most celebrated power is the ability to turn anything from the negative to the positive. She knows that all we see before us in this Earthly dimension is illusion. She is able to mold, change and form energy bundles and streams into manifestations of light, perceived as reality.

I make my request of the Master to teach me; I call upon your name, knowing you will respond in kind regardless of barriers of time or space.

Scota I ask you to guide my soul in the way of seeing beyond time, beyond the physical into the world of light.

I ask you to teach me sight beyond the boundaries of space that was decided for me upon entry to this mortal world.

Teach me the way to harmony with all potential outcomes and wisdom to choose the manifestation that serves my soul’s expression.

Help me to live in my body as an articulation of this life’s purpose: to speak with a voice, kiss with lips, walk with radiance and dance with abandon.

Teach me to love with heart full open and be unafraid of death in any form, for it is only transformation.

Unfasten the doors that lead me to a world where I am music: of animals, plants, sky, sea and soil; Where I can lay in the streams and breathe the air through me with you as one elvensong.

Help us to love our planet and enhance her gifts.

Blessings. May you feel the Elven spirit within you, the magical infinite space of divinity and from which all that appears to be, takes form.
